Hello everyone!

Sadly it's been a long time since we've been able to post anything new, but finally we have added a couple of new things to the site.

First, new downloads are available under the 'Miscellaneous' section. These downloads include an interview with Storm Thorgerson from Record Collector's June 2009 issue. Article/ Interviewer by Jonathan Wingate. It's a very good read for those who are interested.

Se cond, new content has been added to the 'All About Rick' section. There's a subsection containing a list of Richard's favorite LP's. The list was published in a 1968 issue of International Times. A link to International Times has been provided as well. Many thanks to Julian for passing the list on!

Greetings all!

Our friends in Hungary have passed along an announcement that three of Hungary's greatest Pink Floyd tribute bands will be performing a memorial concert on the 14th of November in honor of Richard Wright. Bands performing are HitRock, Echoes of Pink Floyd, and Marooned. The show will start at 19:00 (CET) and is being performed at the Táncsics Mihály Cultural Centre in Soroksár, Hungary.

Pleas e come out and join them to help commemorate Richard. This show will be one for the books!

Well, after a nearly month long hiatus, we are back up and running and are very glad for it. It's quite certain everyone knows the tragic news by now, but we are definitely going to keep running the site and adding all we can to it to honor Richard's memory.

We will try to keep everyone up to date on any new and upcoming news or events from here on. We apologize for any inconveniences.

At the Q Magazine Awards in London, David was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award, which he dedicated to Richard Wright in a speech that conjured a strong emotional response.

Davi d said: "I'm going to dedicate this to my old friend and colleague Richard Wright, who died a couple of weeks ago, and with whom I worked for 40-odd years. There's all sorts of music I won't be able to play without him, which is a source of great sadness for me. One of the last things he wanted to do was play a big outdoor festival such as Glastonbury which we were unable to do, which is also a sadness. He deserves this just as much as I do; you could say that he worked in the position of second fiddle to the pushier chaps at the front, but his work was vitally important to our entire career".

He then proposed a toast to Richard and the entire audience stood and raised their glasses in support and tribute.

Following the recent death of Richard Wright, Radio 2 presents the story of his days in Pink Floyd, told entirely in Richard's own voice. Drawing from BBC archive and an exclusive interview conducted by producer Mark Hagen in September 2007, the last radio interview that Wright gave, Richard offers his unique and now sadly poignant perspective on 40 years as a member of one of the world's all time great rock bands.

Music, all composed by Richard, includes Remember A Day, Us & Them, The Great Gig in the Sky, Sysyphus, Echoes, Wearing The Inside Out and Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
